By Rova is a designer-led accessories brand based in the UK, founded by textile artist and craftsperson Ksenia Semirova. Specialising in statement brooches, hair accessories, and textile art, By Rova brings together heritage techniques, hand embroidery, and a belief in the value of slow fashion.

Meet the Maker

My name is Ksenia Semirova, and I’m the designer, maker, and creative force behind By Rova. Every accessory is handmade by me in my studio in Hove, drawing on heritage craft techniques I have studied and adapted over the years.

I work with a wide range of materials, but for By Rova I prefer natural fibres for their quality and their place in textile tradition. My approach is about making things thoughtfully, with attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of craft.

What Makes By Rova Different

At By Rova, every piece is created in very limited numbers or as a one-of-a-kind, so no two accessories are exactly the same.

My designs are sometimes inspired by current fashion or art, but every accessory reflects my own process and interpretation.

Some pieces are made to be worn, others to be displayed as part of your interior, and many can do both. Each one is made to help you express your own sense of style, and to stand apart from ordinary accessories.
